We spent a lovely day at this well organised sighthound show, meeting lots of old friends and some very nice wolfhounds.

We were delighted that Vincent won the open class and now just needs one last CAC to win his Czech championship title, while Roxi came second in her class of five.

I would like to congratulate Pavla on her success both with our Benva who was second in a class of six junior bitches, and also with Enigma, who won the open class from ten bitches. Many thanks also to Mrs Rydel for a handling our James so well.

There is a saying, "If you're lucky enough to be Irish, you're lucky enough" -  after this weekend, I would like to change it: "If you are Really Irish, you are the luckiest of all . . . "

The weekend we have just had was so special that I will remember it for the rest of my life.

How to describe a show, where I had tears in my eyes? How to describe the feeling that nothing can make you more happy and then . . . something does? I canīt describe it, so please, read our results and try to imagine . . .

When we arrived home from the show, I found a lovely message from Sussu in Finland:  Oiva took part in an international show in Rovaniemi under Ake Cronander (Sweden) and he got:

This weekend could not have been so wonderful or successful for me without the help and successes of my friends. I would like to thank and congratulate them:

Thank you to Saturday's judge , Mrs Vojtekova, who placed
Roxi so highly and made so many nice comments about our dogs.

Congratulations to Eva and Zaneta Okapal (they are twins and I don't know who is who!) on their great success with
Cobalt - on Saturday their male deerhound won CAC, CACIB, BOB and 3rd BIG, and on Sunday CAC, Club Winner and BOB. And thank you, Eva (I hope I'm right) for handling Vincent at the BOB competition on Saturday - you did a great job!

Congratulations to Mrs Zatkova, whose Cesaro Mezi kamarady not only won the Junior Class on Saturday, but was also second Best Junior Male in Show, looking really impressive in the BIS ring, and to Veronika and her
Barbara Stadlewood, who won the junior class on Saturday.

Congratulations to Petra, whose Quisito beat seventeen males to win the open class on Sunday. As for Connan, he has won titles in many European countries, but not yet in the Czech Republic - his turn will come!

Congratulations to Pavla on her successes with Benva and Enigma, and thank you for presenting Benva so well and for handling her and Baruch in the brace class.

Thank you to Tana, Linda, the Dosoudil family, Dr Kozeny, the Klimaszevsky family, Lenka, David and Petr for bringing "our puppies" to the Club Show and presenting them so well.

Thank you to Petr, without whom I could achieve nothing in the show ring, and without whom I couldn't be happy.

Thank you to Iva, who groomed Roxi so well for the BIG competition and congratulations on
Otka's success (he won CAC, CACIB and BOB)!

A very special thank you to Mr Hradil who trusted us enough to let us choose Vincent and Roxi for him, and who still trusts us enough to allow us to take them to shows and handle them. It is  a great honour.

Last but not least - congratulations and thanks  to John Bosanquet (Santir), Daniela and Marcello Poli (Mangialupi) and Iveta Bouchalova (Norman) for breeding such great dogs and entrusting them to us.
