We took Ibella and Vincent to the  Zagreb International Show where, under Mr Muntean (RO), VINCENT WON WON CACIB for the first time!!! At the  age of just 23 months!

Ibella stood alone in champions' class but didn't get a title. The judge said that although he liked her and found her  excellent, her condition wasn't good enough for title.  And . . . he was right :-)

But I was so amazed by VIncent's result that I wasn't disappointed about Ibella, especially as she was so proud and happy to be back in the  show ring again.

We took part in the European Dog Show in Tulln, Austria. Although she didn't place, Roxi got Excellent, and I was very proud of her as she looked and behaved so well. Vincent received Good, but the European winner for the second year running was Beatrix Potter dei Mangialupi, owned by Gianni and Rosanna. Bach received Excellent, as did Pergolesi (grandfather of our litter) and Merlin.  There were a lot of very nice dogs and it was great to meet all our friends.
18th June
We attended the Czech Sighthound Speciality show at Namest nad Oslavou, CZ, where the judges were Mr and Mrs Foggarty from Ireland. Vincent won the open class against some very nice dogs, and the judge couldn't fault him. I was so proud! Roxi and Petra Omahen's Connan were second in their classes, so our group went home very happy.

19th June
112 wolfhounds were entered in the Club Show at Namest nad Oslavou, CZ, again under the Foggartys. Roxi was third in her class, in spite of not behaving well in the ring, and Vincent was fifth, but Tara WON and got CAC!! I had tears in my eyes and was very proud. Ailin stood alone in the working class, and we were proud that he also had CAC. We were very content happy with all that our dogs had achieved , and weren't looking for any more wins, but . . . the male class winners then challenged for the Club Winner title. Because it can only be awarded to dogs owned by club members Tara wasn't eligible, but Ailin competed against the  winner of the champion class and WON to be Club Winner 2005! In the BOB competition, Tara returned to the ring as open class winner and Ailin as the club winner, together with the best male and female juniors, best male and female veterans and the female Club Winner. The judge short-listed Tara and the female Club Winner to run for BOB. They ran and ran and ran and TARA WON!!! He was BOB out of 112 dogs under an Irish judge! I cried and both Lenka and Tana had tears in their eyes - we were all in seventh heaven!
