Health news
We are very happy to announce, that Bloody Mary Really Irish (mother of Really Irish "D" litter, 4.5 years) was heart tested and the result is: free from any heart disease. And her son, Darani Really Irish (1.5 years) had the same result.
Show news
The new show season began in a quite perfect way for us. We attended a national show in Olomouc (CZ), where Cili was entered under Mr. Stefan Stefik (SK). He placed Cili first in open class with CAC and later Cili won also National winner title and BOB!!!
And:
Ceridwen Really Irish is the new Czech Champion!
Another show in which we took part was an international one in Nurnberg, Germany. Wotan (Drechlethan Really Irish) was entered in the intermediate class and the judge was Mr. Fritz (Fritzen's deerhounds).
And the result? At the age of 18 months Wotan won his first VDH!
Many congratulations, Petra!!
March 2010
We were at a St Patrick's Day Happening for wolfhounds and deerhounds, and we had a very good day and a lot of fun. The show was judged by Jef Das, of the Begian Easy Runner kennel. Both Daisy and Anna got "excellent" which made me very happy as there were a lot of dogs with "very good" or even "good". Daisy got a perfect critique - he described of her points as it is, the first to do so! She was placed third in class of four. Anna had a very nice critique too, and was placed fourth in class of 10.
May 2010
Yesterday we were at a show in Prague, where Chris Amoo judged. He did a great job and we all enjoyed his judging very much and are very happy with our results. Wotan came second in a class of 4, he was "very good" as he still needs to mature. Daisy was excellent fourth in a class of 8, which made me feel sooooooo proud of my little girl!
Benva's daughter Justyna Paluduz was excellent too, but the star-of-the-day was Baboo,s dauther Ailis Curran Sheela-Na-Gig. She won junior class, Junior BOB and got Crufts qualification!!!!

Tara (Adh-Mor Really Irish) made us very happy when his heart test at the age of 8.5 year s showed that his heart is still healthy and there is no AF nor DCM.
Birthdays
Late spring here is very rich in birthdays. We are happy to congratulate:

Tara, Edie, Harley and Tobiash (the remaining four from our "A" litter) on their 8th birthday on 18th March;
Cony, Clif and Cili, our "C" litter, on their 3rd birthday on 2nd April;
Our grand lady Mary Kay Ionmhain Norman, mother of our "B" litter and grand-mother of our "D" litter, who had her 9th birthday on 20th April;
And finally, all the "B" litter puppies on their 5th birthday on 28th May.
And there are more celebrations to come in June! :-)
And there are ten more half-Really-Irish pups: Ch Ben Varrey Really Irish gave birth to six girls and four boys (three blacks, seven brindle), sired by Ch Cronos Salutaris of the Paluduz kennel.
Shows
There is no doubt the star of the spring shows was Baboo - Baobhan Sith Really Irish. First, she was entered in the working class at the international show in Budejovice. We hoped to get the last CAC to finish her Czech Championship, so when she got it we were thrilled, but it was only the beginning and Baboo went home with CACIB, BOB and FIRST PLACE IN GROUP! WOW!! And the next day there was a sighthound clubshow where she was awarded with the CAC and Club winner title!
A few days later Baboo went with her mother Mary and daughter Keavy on holiday to Montenegro and came home with the champion titles of Montenegro, Bulgaria and Romania, while Mary got Veteran champion titles and Keavy Juniorchampion titles :-). We are particulary happy about the fact that Mary at the age of 9 years was Veteran BIS at one of the shows there.
Another girl, who made us happy and proud was our Daisy (Dechtire Really Irish), who was presented at several shows - in Budejovice under Mr Lamperti, she was awarded "Excellent" but wasn't placed; then at a show in Prague we very much enjoyed the judging of Chris Amoo, and enjoyed it even more,when he placed Daisy fourth in a huge intermediate class.
Daisy's brother Wotan (Drechlethan Really Irish) is progressing towards his German champion title, having already 3x VDH and res. CAC after three shows in intermediate class! Go, Wotan, go! :-)
During spring Oiva's (Bres McElatha Really Irish) puppies in Finland did a good job too. We are very proud of Afrodite, who easily finished her champion title in Finland, Sweden, Latvia and Lithuania, and her sister Aingael won res. CC at a show in Lahti. Well done girls!!!
Another half-Really-Irish girl who is doing great in the show ring is daughter of Baobhan Sith Really Irish - Ailis Curran Sheela-Na-Gig. She won not only junior classes in Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia, but also Junior BOB and a double Crufts qualification!!! We are very proud of you both, Petra!
And a wolfhound girl that we helped a little to import to Czech Republic - Sapwood's One of a Kind - got her show career off to a grest start in the junior class, coming 3rd in Group at a regional show in Boleslav. Many congratulations to her owner Kristyna!!
